...on this nifty MAP, so we'll know where you live and can drop by accordingly. *cough*

i didnt researched a lot about it, but it would be nice to be able to pinpoint exactly where you live. i think it would be a nice feature. it might be possible, i simply dont know how its done.

also, its possible to choose the colour of your pin, making it possible to have diferent pins for girls / boys / whatever you like to call yourself. again, i dont know how its done.

Incidentally, I find it quite impressive that our small membership has managed almost 8000 posts on here. Clearly a success!

Dunno if I did it right.

There appears to be 2 "unknown locations" in America and 2 generic town names in England pinned on the map, as well as a few of you folks :/

Yeah it's a little confusing, so let me explain.

When you log in it tries to get your current location from your IP. If it manages it, your town is marked on the map with an unnamed pin and you just have to click on this and enter who you are.

If it can't detect your location from your IP, it calls you an unknown location and sticks you somewhere in Kansas. You'll then need to click on the sidebar buttons to add your real location, I'm not sure how good it is at figuring that out from what you've typed (apparently "London" worked ok for Klok).

Trying to be any more specific than 'London' tends to make the thing freeze up. :s

Is it just me or does Buenos Aires look very much like Kaineng City on that map? :O
