Heh...
I have to say I was impressed with how my party of henchmen looked when I was testing this stuff, I said as much in my testing feedback. They are a lot less bland than the C1 henchies.

Oh.. and I think you'll be finding some even stranger henchies than big bird when ya get further in ;)

Whoa, Tengu Henchy? That's cool! I still wish I could make a non-human char, but that's something at least.

The best fun I had so far was the alliance battles. A giant 12vs12 pvp mayhem with many shrines to control and cool stuff like npcs which deal 999 dmg or tamable dragons (....I'm sure you can tame them!).
Great fun, especially the first time (crazy recovery heh Anya and Rhay?). Though lack of dp and fast auto rez make it easier for offensive teams. Some builds particularly shine on those maps (MM, fire ele, iway).
On the other hand, fights are often messy (don't count too much on coordination if you don't have some guildies in your team) and pvp oriented guilds will soon rule the battlefield.

I was a bit disappointed by the rest though. Well, "less-hooked-than-expected" at the least. Pve-part isn't growing on me, surely because we don't have access to everything we want/need. And there's always that "fear" to be spoiled a big part of the game before its official release...

Yeah I was on a little while before it kicked me yesterday and from what i saw...

WOW!

It looks amazing! Although i was a little lost because of being dumped straight in the middle of it all but still :P

I've decided NOT to buy this yet -
Until either:
A) My net is fixed (soon i hope!)
or B) I finish GW Prophicies.

...I'll probably end up buying it next week BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!

You can really see where they got inspiration from stuff like The Great Wave by Hokusai.

OMGOMGZOMG

im really sad i didnt get the chance to play more in FPE. since i had work and stuff.
im very disapointed with the new male meser armors, although i bet there will be many more to choose from.
i also have a tiger, but i wanted a crab... i still havent found a trainer so i could get rid of it. i supose changing secondary job and then changing it back to ranger would delete my tiger
and i found a katana!! i was very happy. cant wait to get one for my warrior. and i got a jug focus item aswell ^^

There is a trainer right outside one of the Kurzick cities. Can't remember which tho.

Not been terribly impressed with the assassins (still). My A/R uses all but one ranger skillset. The ritualists seem much more my cup of tea, just by looking at the effects of their spirits while fighting they seem really powerfull.

Assassin is nice as a secondary for Warrior, but yesterday I found out Eles have Burning Speed unlocked as standard so I've been playing W/E. Shockwave is nice for alliance battles too.

I also found a Jug focus and unlocked Drunken Blow, so I've been using both of those, heh.

I quite like the assassin now.

The default build it gives you is a bit rubbish, but I respecced mine to be full Dagger Mastery and full Critical Strikes, with a 5 attack combo chain and using Critical Eye for extra crit chance.

Using this I end up getting quite a lot of crits, and with each crit I get 3 or 4 energy back which will allow me to complete my long combo chain. Only prob is if the opening attack in the chain is blocked/evaded/misses etc then it's buggered as the rest of the chain will miss, but when the whole chain hits it's great. :)

Not too much, thankfully. We got enough for the armour (15+ materials) and some left for the dye and even for a piece of new armour for Lys (not 15k one).

After that we just explored the world a bit more, and get kileld repeatedly by dragons, inside the outposts. :D

Look at your DP Rhay ! You should have edited that screeny ;)
Though it was your fault, going first on your own ala "invinci ninja" style!

And the 15K chest piece was a wonderful guild effort, there was even enough money left for a golden bikini ^-^ Thumbs up to the treasures hunters!
